AC Milan has finalized its first deal in the summer transfer market

 


According to Italian media reports on Monday evening, AC Milan is close to finalizing its first signing for the upcoming 2023-2024 season during the summer transfer window.

The Italian newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport" revealed that Japanese midfielder Daichi Kamada from Eintracht Frankfurt will be AC Milan's first acquisition in the upcoming summer transfer market.

The newspaper added that AC Milan has secured the signing of the 26-year-old Kamada, who will receive a salary of €2.8 million.

The report mentioned that negotiations are underway to settle the remaining details, as there is a difference of opinion between the two parties.

The player desires a five-year contract, while AC Milan is currently offering three years.

Furthermore, the newspaper highlighted that AC Milan has succeeded in securing the former Eintracht Frankfurt player's services, surpassing several other clubs interested in signing him, notably Borussia Dortmund from Germany.

AC Milan emerged victorious against Juventus with a 1-0 scoreline during their match held on Sunday evening at the Allianz Stadium.

This result came in the thirty-seventh and penultimate round of the current 2023 Italian Serie A season.

The only goal of the match was scored by French striker Olivier Giroud in the 40th minute.

With this outcome, AC Milan secured qualification for the UEFA Champions League with one round remaining in the current 2022-2023 Italian league season.
