Message from Vinicius to La Liga: The award won by the racists was undeserved and should be revoked

Vinicius Junior, the player of Real Madrid, sent a powerful message to La Liga following the events he experienced during his team's match against Valencia.

Real Madrid suffered a 1-0 defeat against Valencia at Mestalla Stadium in the 35th round of the Spanish League.

Vinicius was shown a red card in the 94th minute due to clashes with other players.

Vinicius wrote on his Twitter account, "The award won by the racists was my dismissal, this is not football, this is not La Liga."

Vinicius drew inspiration from the league's promotional slogan, which is used by the association to promote the competition.

He continued, "It was not the first time, nor the second or third. Racism is a normal thing in La Liga. The league and the federation consider it normal and encourage opponents to engage in it."

He added, "I am deeply sorry.
The championship that once belonged to Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Cristiano, and Messi now belongs to racists.
A beautiful nation that welcomed me and that I love has agreed to export an image of a racist country to the world.
I am sorry to the Spanish people who disagree, but today, in Brazil, Spain is known as a country of racists. Unfortunately, I have no way to defend against what happens every week.
But I am strong, and I will fight until the end against racists, even if the end is far away."

What happened

During the match, an unusual incident occurred in the 70th minute when Vinicius advanced with the ball and approached Valencia's penalty area.

He attempted to pass the ball to Eder Militao, Valencia's defender, who accidentally kicked another ball that was on the field with his foot, causing Vinicius to stumble.

The referee deemed it a foul and issued a yellow card.

The game was halted for approximately 7 minutes following the incident, during which Vinicius got into a confrontation with one of the fans.

The match resumed after the situation was resolved.

In the 94th minute, there were strong clashes between the players due to time-wasting, and as a result, Vinicius received a red card.
