The European Derby of Anger witnesses an unprecedented Italian record.

The eyes of European football fans, especially Italian ones, are turning towards San Siro stadium this evening, as the highly anticipated match between Inter and Milan takes place in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final.

The highly anticipated clash between Inter and Milan in the European Derby of Anger tonight carries a revengeful tone.
Milan enters the match with the sole objective of achieving a victory that surpasses the two-goal deficit they suffered in the first leg, which caught them by surprise.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 10:00. EG  on Tuesday and will be broadcasted on "beIN Sports 1 HD Premium," the exclusive broadcaster of UEFA Champions League matches in the Middle East and Arab region.

According to the Italian website "TuttoMercatoWeb," the derby match tonight has witnessed a sold-out stadium, which grants Inter the opportunity to achieve unprecedented financial records.

The expected attendance at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium today is over 75,000 spectators, with Inter expected to earn 12 million euros from this match alone, surpassing Milan's previous record of approximately 10.5 million euros from the first leg.

The Italian newspaper "Corriere dello Sport" revealed the financial reward that the team reaching the UEFA Champions League final in Istanbul, Turkey, will receive, amounting to 15.5 million euros.

Thanks to UEFA prizes and ticket sales, Inter and Milan are expected to earn around 125 to 130 million euros each.

The newspaper emphasizes the importance of qualifying for the European competition, as it affects the budgets of the clubs, the fate of the coaches and players.

Inter Milan enters the match with confidence, following their surprising victory over the veteran Milan, and they aim to continue their momentum and secure a ticket to the UEFA Champions League final.

In their recent domestic league performances, Inter Milan achieved a significant 4-0 victory over Sassuolo, while Milan suffered a 2-0 defeat against Spezia in the Italian league.

The match between Inter and Milan holds a special significance as both teams have won the European Cup (now UEFA Champions League) 10 times combined in the city of Milan.

This encounter takes us back to the golden era of Italian football when the two teams faced each other four times in the Champions League.

However, Inter has never managed to defeat their rivals in any of those encounters.

The first meeting in Europe took place in the 2002-2003 season during the semi-finals, and Milan advanced to the final based on the away goals rule (0-0, 1-1) and went on to win against Juventus at Old Trafford.

The second and last encounter took place in the 2004-2005 season, known as the "Derby of Shame," which was halted for half an hour due to hooliganism in the stands. Milan also eliminated Inter in the semi-finals after the referee disallowed a goal for Inter.

Despite many years passing since those matches and changes in the composition of players in both teams, the competitiveness and atmosphere between the two teams remain intense, especially after many years of both teams reaching the semi-finals—13 years for Inter and 16 years for Milan.
