Ismaily's head coach, Hamza Al-Gamal, has decided to rely on the efforts of the Ismaily trio, Marwan Hamdy, Iyad Al-Asqalani, and Abu Bakr Hamza Al-Gamal, to address the absences crisis facing the team in the match against Al Ahly Bank.
Absent from Ismaily in the match against Al Ahly Bank are Faras Shawat, Yaw Anwar, and Mohamed Hassan due to suspension, while Mohamed Koko, Mohamed Fawzi, Abdul Rahman Magdy, and Mahmoud El-Shabrawy are absent due to injury.
Ismaily, led by Hamza Al-Gamal, concludes their preparations today, Tuesday, for the match against Al Ahly Bank, scheduled to take place at 8:30 PM tomorrow, Wednesday, at Cairo International Stadium, as part of the 28th round of the Egyptian League.
The Dervishes will have their final training session today, after which Hamza Al-Gamal will announce the squad that will travel to Cairo for a closed training camp.
Hamza Al-Gamal, the team's coach, has been studying Al Ahly Bank's matches in the league to identify their strengths and weaknesses, aiming for a new victory for Ismaily that can improve the team's position in the competition standings.
Ismaily achieved a significant victory over Zamalek in the league, ending a 5-year winless streak against the White Knights, dating back to April 2, 2018.
Ismaily hasn't won against Zamalek in their last 10 encounters since the match between the two teams on April 2, 2018, when Ismaily won with a score of 3-1 in the league, with goals from Mahmoud Metwally, Karim Bambo, and Ibrahim Hassan, while Zamalek's goal was scored by Marwan Youssef.
In the recent victory, Yaw Anwar scored Ismaily's first goal in the 20th minute, and Mohamed Ashraf Roqa, a player from Zamalek, scored an own goal for Ismaily's second goal. In the 38th minute, Ibrahim Ndaye scored Zamalek's only goal.
During Ismaily's training sessions, a goalkeeper from the youth sector joined Mohamed Sobhi and Mohamed Koko, the team's goalkeepers, to compensate for the absence of Mohamed Fawzi, the main goalkeeper who got injured against Zamalek.
Ahmed Adel Abdel-Moneim, who replaced Fawzi in the match, underwent recovery and physical training with the players who participated in the Zamalek match, focusing on light and physical exercises.
