Manchester United has given up on the idea of signing Tottenham striker Harry Kane during the current summer transfer window.
Kane has only one year left on his contract with Tottenham, and there was optimism at United that they could secure his services to strengthen their attacking line.
However, according to "Times Sports," Manchester United has lost hope in signing Harry Kane. The report states that United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to improve the attacking aspect by acquiring Kane, but they are not optimistic about their chances of landing the Spurs forward. It is noted that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy remains steadfast in his position of not allowing Kane to join any English Premier League competitor.
Kane featured in all of Tottenham's Premier League matches last season, scoring 30 goals and providing 3 assists. Spanish reports have also indicated that Real Madrid is interested in signing Harry Kane this summer as a replacement for Karim Benzema.
