Inter Milan seeks their fourth European title

Manchester City is the clear favorite against Inter Milan, the three-time European champions, who finished third in the Italian Serie A and won the Coppa Italia for the second consecutive season.

However, Inter Milan should not be underestimated, as they have kept clean sheets eight times in the tournament in 12 matches so far, with goalkeeper Andre Onana delivering outstanding performances.

Simone Inzaghi's team also possesses a formidable attacking force led by Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez, who has scored 28 goals and provided 11 assists in 58 matches this season. The Italians also have former Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko and Romelu Lukaku in their ranks.

Inzaghi stated, "It's the most important match for me ever, but I believe it is also the case for my players, as we have players like Dzeko and Onana who played in the semifinals.

It would be the crowning achievement of all our efforts as it has been a long and tough year."

Argentine forward Martinez said, "I hope we can deliver a fantastic performance, win the title, and bring the trophy to Milan.

It's a huge dream for us. It's an incredibly difficult dream, but we are one step away from achieving it."

On the other hand, Erling Haaland aims to become the first Norwegian player to score in the final since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who scored a decisive goal for Manchester United in the treble-winning campaign of 1999.

Haaland stated to BBC Sport's Dan Roan, "That's why they bought me, of course, to get this (title). We're not hiding that."

"It's something very important to me. I will do everything I can to try to achieve it. It's my biggest dream, and I hope dreams come true."
