Officially, De Bruyne is the best playmaker in the English Premier League, and this is Salah's position.

 


Kevin De Bruyne, Manchester City player, has won the award for the best playmaker in the 2022/23 English Premier League season.


The Belgian player, Kevin De Bruyne, delivered an outstanding performance this season with Manchester City, where he contributed to 16 goals and played a key role in Manchester City winning their third consecutive English Premier League title and their fifth in the last 6 years.

It's worth mentioning that De Bruyne has previously won this award twice, in the 2017/18 season when he also contributed to 16 goals, and in the 2019/20 season when he assisted in 20 goals.

Mohamed Salah, Liverpool player, and Leandro Trossard, Arsenal player, both came in second place with 11 assists each. Riyad Mahrez followed closely with 10 assists.

Manchester City secured the English Premier League title after reaching 89 points, with Arsenal finishing behind them with a strong season, accumulating 84 points.
