Dortmund city expects 200,000 fans at the potential ceremony to crown Borussia as the Bundesliga champions

Gregor Langer, the chief of police in the German city of Dortmund, announced that there are expectations for at least 200,000 fans to join the Borussia Dortmund football team in the potential ceremony for crowning them as the champions of the Bundesliga, following the final matches next Saturday.

Langer said, "We are prepared with strong forces and we look forward to the challenges."

He also urged the fans, saying, Behave peacefully.
Everyone has the opportunity to show Dortmund as a positive place.

A four-hour parade has been planned throughout the city on the following Sunday in the event of Dortmund winning their first league title since 2012, ending Bayern Munich's decade-long dominance.

Before the parade, the team will sign the city's golden book, and according to the mayor of the city, Thomas Westphal, there will be no public viewing in the city on Saturday during the match.

Dortmund currently tops the league table with a two-point lead over Bayern Munich and needs to win against their guest, Mainz, to clinch the title.
