Real Madrid midfielder, Luca Modric, believes that his team always performs at a distinguished level in the UEFA Champions League due to the importance of the tournament and the strength of the matches.
Modric said in the press conference before the Manchester City match, We didn't start well in the first leg, and the draw didn't settle the encounter. We are in a good condition, and I believe that the opportunities are equal. The qualification will be decided by extremely small details because Real Madrid and Manchester City are two great teams with the best players.
He added, I don't see a difference in being a star at the age of 23 or 37. There is no difference, but I think now the younger generation is more focused on social media, which wasn't prevalent before. Times have indeed changed.
He continued, "I feel fit and I wanted to be in the game. My physical and mental health is important to me, and I don't want to get injured like what happened in 2015 before my matches against Atletico Madrid and Juventus."
