Al-Ahly of Egypt crowned champions of the CAF Champions League for the eleventh time in their history

 


Yahya Atallah scored for Wydad in the 27th minute before Mohamed Abdel-Moneim equalized for Al-Ahly in the 78th minute.

Al-Ahly further solidified their record number of continental titles in this competition, raising their tally to 11 championships. They also avenged their loss in last year's final, which was held at the same stadium and ended with Wydad's 2-0 victory.

Al-Ahly continued their African dominance, as this is the third title for the Red Castle in the last four seasons.
